Apple’s iPhone 7 And 7 Plus Get Official, Waterproof
iPhone 7 is now official, the handset was announced at Apple’s event today. The new iPhone 7 is powered by the Apple A10 processor and it comes with the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 10. As expected, the iPhone7 and iPhone7 Plus also ditch the headphone jack, which means your existing earphones will not work with the new iPhone models. The new iPhones now come with stereo speakers, and its finally confirmed that the 3.5mm headphone jack is gone.
Apple’s new iPhone7 is IP67 rated which means it is water and dust resistant. iPhone7 comes with a new design, with minor antenna lines and it will be available in two new colours: matte black, jet (glossy) black, including gold, silver, and rose gold. It also features a new home button. The iPhone7 features water and dust resistance, a first for the Apple.
There are camera improvements, phones are also getting OIS. The iPhone 7 Plus has dual rear camera setup – one 56mm telephoto lens and the other wide-angle lens. The bigger model is also capable of 2X optical zoom, with total zoom up to 10x. A new 7-megapixel front camera is included as well.
There’s a new 6-element f/1.8 aperture lens with 12-megapixel sensor and quad-LED with True Tone Flash.
