Samsung Galaxy Note 7 With Iris Scanner Is Here
Samsung unveiled the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone at its Galaxy Note Unpacked 2016 event. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be available starting on August 19, and will be offered in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with a dual curved 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a pixel density of 518ppi. Galaxy Note 7 is dust and water resistant with IP68 certification.
The phone is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and the other four at 1.6 GHz. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and will be an IP68 water-and-dust resistant device.

Device comes with Samsung Knox security suite with bio metric authentication that includes both the iris scanning feature and the fingerprint scanner. The company claims that the iris scanner on the phone allows you to unlock it with a blink of an eye. The device weighs just 169 gms.
Samsung also unveiled a new Gear VR headset, called Gear VR with a dedicated home button, works with older handsets like the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Galaxy S6 Edge+. The headset offers both USB Type-C and Micro-USB connections to support this.
The Galaxy Note 7 has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256 GB.
The device will also include a 3500mAh non-removable battery and will get a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. Galaxy Note 7 also supports wireless charging.
