Now Recharge Delhi Metro Card With Paytm
In the presence of DMRC Managing Director Mangu Singh and Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma DMRC anounced that Delhi Metro travellers will be able to recharge their Delhi Metro Card via Paytm or via DMRC’s website.
Recharge can either be done through the Paytm app or website, or users can select it as a payment option on the DMRC website.
Delhi Metro Card can now be easily recharged with Paytm wallet
On the DMRC website, you can now choose to pay using your credit or debit cards, net banking, or with the Paytm wallet. The DMRC also has an app called Offer World, which allows you to check the balance of your Metro card, top it up online, and includes offers that will add balance in your card
“The new facility will be of great convenience to the commuters since this will allow them to recharge their Delhi Metro Card through their mobile phones.”
“The transactions will be completely safe and the card or net banking details will be saved only once by App. Recharge through this facility will be fast and convenient,”
“However, after the recharge, the commuters will have to validate the recharge by tapping their Delhi Metro Card at the Automatic Vending Machines (AVMs) which are available at all metro stations,” a statement issued by the Delhi Metro Corporation said.
The new facility is very convenient to the passengers as they need not stand in queues for tickets or to refill Delhi Metro Card.
